Corporation franchise and income taxe sdeclined 6.8 percent to $36.1 million from $38.9 million. The largest percentage drop occurrefd inthe "other" which includes estate, utility and real estat e transfer fee collections. According to the Revenue because ofthe phase-ou t of the largest component -- the estate tax -- it returnerd nearly $3.2 million in taxes in resulting in a decline that was greater than 100 Last April, other tax collectionas totaled $14.2 million.
